How does the program work? Program participants weigh-in weekly, beginning the week of Thanksgiving through New Year’s to monitor their weight. Each week, participants will weigh in on their own and track and report their results. Livestock Judging is a great way to learn decision making and public speaking and is at most major stock shows. Youth will learn how to evaluate an animal's characteristics and make a comparison to other animals based on the ideal standards of that species.
Do you like to be creative in what you wear and the space around you? The 4-H Fashion and Interior Design program is perfect for you. In this project you can learn to design, construct and be a smart consumer when purchasing clothing and household items. Have fun creating environmentally friendly projects while exploring careers in the fashion and interior design industries. You can work on your own or with a group.
